Oh... how do?

Welcome to my landing page, glad you found me.  I am wordscribe43 and I hope you enjoy the wide variety of topics I write about.  Read my Google+ profile to learn more about me!

A little blurb about me... I received my B.A. from the University of Wisconsin, Madison and my M.S.W. (Masters degree in Social Work) from Washington University in Saint Louis. My specialization was mental health.

There is nothing more important to me than my children.  I am crazy about animals.  I think slugs are mighty icky.  I vacuum a lot.  I write a lot.  I drink way too much coffee. 

Quirky things about me:  I'm ridiculously good at bowling, although I only do it about once per year.  I have an amusement park phobia, but it's getting better.  It's faded nearly as much as my slug phobia.  I am quite good at juggling.  I can also talk like Donald Duck for extended periods of time (if asked by my children). 

I am naturally UNgifted at the following...  I suck at making cakes, seriously!  It actually really irritates me that I am lacking this skill set.  I have no sense of direction, can't find my way out of a paper bag.  Thank goodness for the invention of the GPS.  Math and I are incompatible.  Almost anyone can do more situps than I can.  Finally, I'm pretty sure I look like Napoleon Dynamite when I run.
